Melissa Alonso

Melissa Alonso is an emerging visual artist specializing in painting and drawing, with a focus on portraiture that explores themes of personal and cultural identity. Her works are inspired by her lived experiences, memories, and traditions. A former student from LaGuardia Community College and currently studying at Queens College, Melissa uses her art to form connections with her viewers through storytelling and shared experiences. Through each portrait, she encourages viewers to reflect on their own identity, experiences, and emotions.
